Riley Green And Zach Top Perform “Mama Tried,” “Time Marches On,” And More

“The Super Bowl of Rodeo” returns to Las Vegas this year from December 5 to 14, featuring incredible musical performances for country music fans. One particular collaboration between Riley Green and Zach Top has caught fans’ attention.

The National Finals Rodeo, commonly referred to as the NFR is an annual championship event organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). The NFR determines the world champion in key rodeo events, including bull riding and steer wrestling.

This year, the world championship competition is being held at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. When the cowboys are not roping and riding, they are listening to country music.

During Green’s set at the NFR, Top joined him on stage. Before they played some classic country songs, they had an adorable first interaction. Top walked on stage and sat on a nearby chair that was positioned far behind Green. Green turned to him and asked, “why you sitting all the way back there?” to which Top responded, I’ll just sit here until it’s my time to not sit here.”

The audience couldn’t get enough and laughed at their banter. They then began to perform a collaboration of Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried.” Watch their performance blow.
