Scotty McCreery Pokes Fun At Himself After Sharing Video Of Onstage Fall
Despite suffering a gnarly fall onstage at a recent concert, Scotty McCreery found some humor in the ordeal.
A clip McCreery uploaded to social media on Tuesday (March 25) showcased the incident. The Grand Ole Opry member was performing in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, when he stepped backward and fell over a speaker onstage.
He mostly fell on his “behind,” but also caught himself on his wrist. Thankfully, he appeared to be alright, as he quickly jumped to his feet and recovered like a pro! He even cracked a joke with the crowd, saying, “Who put that there?”
McCreery continued to joke about the experience when he uploaded the video. Text over the clip reads:
The Stage: 1
Me: 0

The clip also shows McCreery talking to his band backstage after he fell. He remarked that he landed “Right on [his] wrist.”
“I haven’t done that in a minute,” he said.
One of his band members joked, “Well if you weren’t hurting before, you are now.”
The person behind the camera spoke to several of McCreery’s bandmates, who all said his fall was the “highlight” of the show. Of course, they were relieved he wasn’t seriously hurt.
