It has been nearly four years since Shelton’s last full-length album, Body Language, which dropped in May 2021.
The Grand Ole Opry member made a major career shift last September when he left Warner Music Nashville, his label of more than twenty years. Shelton is now signed with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, the label that boasts Lainey Wilson, Jason Aldean, and Jelly Roll among its roster.
Track List Of For Recreational Use Only Revealed
Ahead of the album’s release, Blake Shelton shared the titles of all twelve songs included on the project. Country music icons John Anderson and Craig Morgan will each be featured on a track, as will Shelton’s superstar wife, Gwen Stefani.
While backstage at the recent Opry 100th anniversary celebration, the Oklahoma native shared that the new duet will be a breakup song, a departure from the couple’s two previously released love songs.
However, he assured fans that the song is “no reflection” of his relationship with his wife. He added that they both think it is a “badass country song.” View the full track list for Blake Shelton’s upcoming album below!
