Last Week, Husband And Wife Duo The War & Treaty Took To Social Media To Announce The Postponement Of Their Scheduled Performance At Nashville’s Iconic Bluebird Cafe
The War &Treaty’s appearance was set to be part of a one-night celebration of Black History Month in collaboration with BMI and the Academy of Country Music (ACM).
In a statement, they explained that a “family emergency” was the reason for the change.
“We hate to post this but due to a family emergency we are unable to perform at @bluebirdcafetn,” they wrote. “We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know this is not something we take lightly—your love, energy, and support mean everything to us, and we were so looking forward to sharing this night with you. We appreciate your understanding, prayers and well wishes during this time. We promise to make it up to you as soon as we can. With love and gratitude Tanya & Michael.”
