Las Vegas…it’s a city with close connections to country music. Many stars have had residencies there, including Garth Brooks, Shania Twain, and Reba McEntire with Brooks & Dunn. Another major country star who once had a residency in Vegas was none other than Tim McGraw. In a show called Soul2Soul with his wife and fellow country superstar Faith Hill, McGraw entertained fans during multiple weekends from 2013-2014 at The Venetian.
It’s been two years since McGraw wrapped up his residency, and now he’s ready to come back to Vegas. In a huge announcement McGraw made on Tuesday (September 27), he revealed that he’s set to make his return.
However, McGraw’s venture back into Sin City isn’t what you expect. He’s not returning for a residency or concert, but rather, through the form of a slot machine.
Yes, you read that right. While attending the Global Gaming Expo in Vegas, McGraw showed up to help unveil a brand new video slot machine game themed all around him and his music. McGraw presented the game to the thousands of people in attendance, saying, “I’m thrilled to introduce a great new game that I hope both you and your players are going to love.”
The new McGraw slot machine will remain on exhibit at the expo until Thursday (September 29). A video taken of McGraw’s big reveal shows the slot machine in all its glory, which features photos and videos of him on the big top screen.
It’s only a matter of time before the McGraw slots make their way into the Vegas casinos. The video below shows exactly what the slot machines will look like so you know what to look for when you make your next trip to Vegas!
