At the 2020 ACM Awards, Trisha Yearwood performed “I’ll Carry You Home” during the In Memoriam section of the show. The tribute honored Joe Diffie, Kenny Rogers, John Prine, and more who passed away the past year.
“This year the country music world lost some cherished members. … This song is for those friends and everyone whose earthly presence is missed, but whose memory will be with us for all time,” she said before beginning her performance.

A week after her stunning ACM Awards performance, Yearwood released an official music video for “I’ll Carry You Home.”
