John Travolta is one proud papa!
At age 21, John’s daughter, Ella, has been cast in her first starring role in a film. She will play the lead character in a new re-imagining of the Alice in Wonderland story called Get Lost.
Deadline describes the film as “…a modern-day re-imagining of Alice In Wonderland with the creatures turned into human characters. Travolta plays Alicia/Alice, who goes on a wildly magical trip into the wonderland that is Budapest.”
Ella shared a video on Instagram that shows her on set, and offers a sneak peek at one of her gorgeous costumes. “I am so honored and happy to begin this adventure on such a wonderful project with such an amazing cast and crew. Stay tuned…” she captioned the clip.

Even though this is Ella’s first lead role, it’s not her first movie. She had parts in some of John’s past movies, including The Poison Rose and Old Dogs.
Speaking of John, he’s quite proud of his daughter for chasing her dreams as an actress.
The day after Ella shared the video she filmed on set of Get Lost, John posted a photo of her in full costume. He gushed about her part in the movie, writing, “Here’s my daughter Ella starring in a live action re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland! Called, ‘Get Lost’ I’m a very proud dad!”
