The Voice stage is a magical place! Just ask Colton Swon.
Five years ago Colton and and his brother Zach’s lives changed in a big way. Not only did they place 3rd during The Voice season 4, but Colton would meet the woman that would become his wife.
Saturday (March 17), Colton married indie rock singer and fellow Voice alum, Caroline Glaser, at Houston Station in Nashville. Zach served as his brother’s best man during the ceremony that hosted roughly 300 guests, including country superstar Carrie Underwood. The Swon Brothers opened for Underwood during her 2016 Storyteller tour.
“Russian-born Nashville-based designer Olia Zavozina designed Glaser’s boho classic wedding gown as well as the groom’s tuxedo, Zach Swon’s tuxedo and their mother’s gown,” reports The Tennessean. “The sweeping skirt on Glaser’s gown was removable to reveal a shorter skirt to give Glaser a more comfortable look for the reception.”

According to those in attendance, Zach Swon delivered an emotional toast to his brother during the reception that was followed by live music and dancing.

The couple announced their engagement in February 2017 with a post to Instagram that read, “She said YES! I get to marry my best friend y’all! I’ve been dreaming her up my whole life and she’s so much more than what my simple mind could come up with.Thank you Lord for this amazing girl and these two amazing families. Forever ain’t long enough.”
