Willie Nelson Has A Lot Of Reasons To Celebrate
Country music legend Willie Nelson celebrated his 90th birthday in 2023. Dozens of stars gathered at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for a two-day concert marking the milestone.
That concert was filmed for a production that had a limited run in theaters across the country.

Willie celebrated another big milestone later in 2023. He and his wife, Annie D’Angelo, marked 32 years of marriage in September.
What’s The Secret To Their Lengthy Marriage?
The couple shares two sons, Lukas and Micah, who are both performers. Willie also has four living daughters (Lana, Susie, Paula, and Amy) and two late children (Renee and Billy) from previous relationships.
“We’ve got a couple of great kids,” Willie said when speaking with PEOPLE about his and Annie’s relationship. “I am proud of them and all they’re doing on their own. It’s great to have your kids with you at any time, but if they’re on the stage singing with you and they’re good, that makes it even better.”
Willie Nelson also shared the key to his and Annie’s decades-long marriage, which is his longest. He said for them, the secret is laughter.
“As they say, laughter’s the best medicine,” Willie remarked. “I’ve always enjoyed a good joke.”
He went on to compliment Annie’s devotion and companionship, saying, “I call her my pet rattler. She’s my lover, my wife, nurse, doctor, bodyguard.”
