Yellowstone‘s Luke Grimes, Who Plays Kayce Dutton, Is Also A Country Music Artist
Most people know Luke Grimes for his acting career. He’s appeared in films such as American Sniper, The Magnificent Seven, and the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.
But Grimes is perhaps most well-known for playing John Dutton’s son, Kayce Dutton, in the hit Paramount series Yellowstone.

On top of acting, Grimes is also a country music artist. Though he is fairly new to the industry, as he just released his debut single in December 2022. It’s titled “No Horse to Ride.”
“No Horse to Ride” was an instant hit. It generated millions of streams on Spotify and was included in an episode of Yellowstone.
Grimes released another song in March, titled “Oh Ohio.” Then, he followed up by sharing another new song, “Hold On,” in April.

The latter song includes lyrics such as, “Wish that I could not go crazy. Wish that I could make you hate me. Maybe I should change my name and run, so I don’t have to hold on.”
Luke Grimes Releases New Music Video To Accompany His Song “Hold On”
Now, Grimes’ fans can enjoy “Hold On” in a new way. He dropped the song’s official music video on June 8.
The sepia-toned video has a vintage feeling. It includes various clips of Grimes on his travels, showcasing the gorgeous landscapes he passed through. The video also features footage from some of Grimes’ performances, including his set at the Stagecoach festival in California.
