Country music star Brantley Gilbert co-stars alongside his wife Amber Cochran in the sexy music video for his hit single “The Weekend.”

Gilbert blows off steam in this party starting anthem after Amber calls him up on the road with some troubling news.
The video begins with Gilbert working on a classic white Mercury Cougar that he just can’t seem to get back up and running. Amber finds her frustrated husband in the garage unsuccessfully attempting to get the car to start almost making him late for his tour bus.

Flash-forward a minute into the video, Amber calls her husband up with some heart-breaking news.
“Please don’t be mad,” she says into Gilbert’s voicemail. “I sold the Cougar…But I really think you’re going to thank me for this.”
Gilbert angrily embarks on a streak of partying with his bandmates after receiving the news. At the end of the night, Amber drives up to the house party her husband is attending in his Cougar she restored to pristine condition, revealing her phone call was a joke and that she would actually never sell his car.
“The Weekend” served as the first single off Gilbert’s album The Devil Don’t Sleep, which was released in early 2017.
