As part of one of the most iconic cover series, this country music songstress sat down and paid tribute to one of the most-recognizable hits that has ever struck the country charts.

Originally made famous by Kris Kristofferson (who also wrote and composed the song), “Help Me Make It Through The Night” has reached incredible heights of success as a worldwide chart-topper and signature country classic.

Lorrie Morgan, who is a cherished country singer in her own right, has been performing since she was just 13 years old and made her debut on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. Later in life, she was married to fellow country icon, Keith Whitley until his death in 1989.

Taking to the stage as part of the 50th Anniversary of the Country Music Association, and their “Forever Country” series, Morgan performs a pared-down rendition of Kristofferson’s country staple that will send tingles down your spine!

Her soft and sweet voice serenades listeners as the two guitarists strum in the background, making this an intimate and soulful performance you definitely won’t want to miss!
