Solomon “Bear Brown”, star of Alaskan Bush People, is recovering after a brief hospitalization.

The reality tv star shared on social media Monday (April 18, 2023) that he was in the hospital. His original post was simply a photo of himself with a hospital bracelet on with a caption that read “oops!”

A few hours later, Brown explained what led to his trip to the hospital, saying, “I was working yesterday, hauling hay and undoing old barbed wire and I accidentally stabbed myself really deep with a rusty piece of barbed wire so I had to go to the emergency room, to get a tetanus shot!”

Bear Brown has appeared on The Discovery Channel’s Alaskan Bush People with his family since 2014.

Alaskan Bush People follows the Brown family as they attempt to survive in the Alaskan wilderness. The Brown family consisted of Billy and Ami Brown and their seven children, two daughters-in-law and three grandchildren as they create a life together off the gridd. Billy Brown passed away in 2021 at the age of 68.
