Our hearts go out to Bella Robertson Mayo and her husband, Jacob, during an extremely sad time for them both.
A few days ago, Bella shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram to let her followers know that her and Jacob’s dog, Ralph, had passed away. The young Duck Dynasty star said:
“we lost our favorite little buddy today…i love you so much & ill miss you forever ralphie boy.”
Bella posted a video and a bunch of photos showcasing all of the wonderful memories she and Jacob made with Ralph since they welcomed him into their family.

Bella and Jacob just brought him home in July of 2021. He was only a puppy when he joined their family.
Ralph joined the Mayos to serve as a “hunting dog” for Jacob. Bella never thought she’d “give in” to the idea of having a hunting dog, but she quickly formed a strong bond with Ralph.
“heres [sic] to new adventures with my new little family that i love so so much,” Bella wrote when she introduced Ralph on social media.

Now, Bella is reminiscing on all of the sweet moments she shared with Ralph. After his death, she shared another post detailing how she and Jacob are dealing with their grief.
“laid in bed all morning, drinking coffee, laughing, crying, and reminiscing on all of the best memories we made this past year with our little buddy,” she wrote alongside a photo of her and Jacob holding their coffee mugs.
“as were sad about all that we lost, were so so thankful for all that we had! its been a tough weekend, say a prayer for us if you think about it,” she ended her caption. The post also contained a cute photo of her and Jacob snuggling with Ralph in bed. He seemed like such a happy pup.
Bella and Jacob will certainly be in our thoughts.
