After two prior collaborations (“Go Ahead and Break My Heart” and “You Make It Feel Like Christmas”), Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani released a new duet at the end of 2019. Titled “Nobody But You,” the song has the couple of over four years proclaiming how they don’t want to live without each other or ever love another.
“Nobody But You” quickly took country music by storm, and debuted at the #9 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Shelton and Stefani then delivered a performance of the song at the 2020 Grammy Awards in January. Sales of the song surged after that performance.
The official music video for “Nobody But You” was also released in January, further increasing the song’s popularity.
Before the current world environment resulted in the cancellation of concerts, Shelton and Stefani surprised fans at their respective shows with some live performances of “Nobody But You.” After concerts were nixed for the foreseeable future, Shelton and Stefani delivered several home performances of their duet for shows such as ACM Presents: Our Country, The Tonight Show, and even the Grand Ole Opry.
Those performances helped make the song even more popular, and it finally hit #1 on the Country Airplay chart in early May. Even though “Nobody But You” last sat at the top of the Country Airplay chart months ago, it’s still one of the biggest hits in country music.
Now, Shelton and Stefani have further embraced the song’s popularity by releasing a new, live video to accompany it.
The main performance segments in the clip stem from one of Shelton’s shows when Stefani surprised his audience by singing “Nobody But You” with him live. Other clips show the couple in rehearsal and goofing around backstage.
All of the footage captures the love that Stefani and Shelton share. They are often seen hugging, kissing, holding hands, and otherwise expressing affection for each other.
