RaeLynn and Blake Shelton met on Season 2 of The Voice in 2012. RaeLynn joined Blake’s team, and ended up making it all the way to the quarterfinals before she was eliminated.
Since then, RaeLynn has maintained a close relationship with her former coach. She’s toured with him, recorded with him, and even had a residency at his Ole Red restaurant/music venue in Nashville.
During a 2017 interview with ET, Blake said RaeLynn is his “personal favorite” Voice contestant. “I just feel a bond with her that is unexplainable,” he said.
RaeLynn also spoke with ET at the same time, and said Blake is like a brother to her.
Blake and his now-wife Gwen Stefani were in attendance when RaeLynn married Josh Davis in 2016. So when RaeLynn and Josh announced they were expecting their first child this year, Blake and Gwen were surely thrilled for them.
RaeLynn and Blake got the chance to meet up just one month before she gave birth. The “God Made Girls” singer shared a photo of her and Blake that shows Blake pointing at her baby bump.
“Daisy’s gonna love Uncle Blake…missing you @gwenstefani,” RaeLynn captioned the photo.

RaeLynn gave birth to her baby girl, Daisy Rae Davis, on September 8. “…babies are truly a gift. So thankful for our little blonde miracle,” RaeLynn said when announcing Daisy’s birth on social media.

Since Daisy made her way into the world, she and RaeLynn have been showered with gifts from their famous friends. One of the most beautiful gifts came from Blake and Gwen.
Taking to her Instagram Story, RaeLynn shared a photo of her holding Daisy while standing next to a gorgeous bouquet of flowers Blake and Gwen sent to her. “Thank you @gwenstefani @blakeshelton for showering our girl with love,” she wrote on the photo.
