Brantley Gilbert’s Wife, Amber, Gives Birth To Their Baby Boy…On A Tour Bus In Tupelo
Brantley and Amber Gilbert just welcomed their third baby…and he has quite the birth story!
The Gilberts announced on Mother’s Day (May 12) that they were expecting their third child. They already have a son, Barrett (age six), and a daughter, Braylen (age five).

Brantley and Amber later shared that Baby #3 was a boy. The couple never revealed Amber’s exact due date.
Amber has been traveling with Brantley, who’s currently on his Off the Rails Tour. She’s also been traveling with their midwife in case she gave birth while they were on the road.
That’s exactly what ended up happening!
Brantley was in the middle of his concert in Tupelo, Mississippi, on Friday (October 11) when Amber went into labor on their tour bus in the venue’s parking lot. He rushed to be by her side and was there to “catch” his baby boy when he arrived.
An emotional Brantley returned to the stage a little while later to announce his son’s birth. His bandmates gave him congratulatory hugs while the crowd cheered.
Then, Brantley surprised everyone by announcing he was going to finish the show…with Amber’s blessing, of course!
It’s worth noting that Elvis Presley was also born in Tupelo. So now, Brantley and Amber’s baby boy shares a special connection to “The King of Rock and Roll.”

Meet The Newest Addition To The Gilbert Family
The day after his son’s birth, Brantley took to social media to praise Amber’s strength. He also shared a video showcasing the moment when he met his baby boy.
Brantley said, “So last night might have been the craziest night of my life. Watching such an amazing woman do such an amazing thing is something I’ll never forget.”
He continued, “...Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me EXACTLY how incredibly strong a woman can be. I love you.”

Brantley and Amber didn’t share Baby Gilbert’s name right away. But they finally revealed his name in a joint Instagram post on Sunday (October 13).
“We will never forget the way you got here and we can’t wait to see what you do here. Abram Howell Gilbert,” the couple captioned a photo of them and their new baby boy. You can see their post below.
Brantley and Amber spoke to Fox & Friends about Abram’s birth on Monday (October 14). They said they were prepared by having their midwife join them on tour, but thought they still had a week before Abram arrived.
Brantley said he “didn’t think in a million years” that their son would be born on their bus during one of his shows. “...can’t say this was on my bingo card,” he joked. “It was kind of crazy.”
