Miranda Lambert has a huge reason to celebrate right now. Her current single, “Bluebird,” just became a #1 song!

Lambert took to social media to announce that “Bluebird” was perched at the #1 spot on the Mediabase chart. She mentioned how it has been six years since she had a #1 solo song on that chart, and it has been eight years since she had a #1 solo song on the Billboard charts.

2020 hasn’t offered a whole lot to celebrate, especially for musicians,” Miranda said. “But I am celebrating this week.  I’m celebrating happiness and the feeling of artistic freedom in a time where we all feel a little caged. I’m celebrating country music and all the joy it has brought to my life.

Other artists quickly congratulated Lambert once she announced “Bluebird” was a #1 song.

Congrats Miranda!!! You deserve a lot better than one in 6-8 years. Great song and very proud for you,” tweeted Lambert’s good friend, Randy Houser.

She even received praise from a country music legend…Tanya Tucker.

Underwood, who commented on Lambert’s post announcing “Bluebird” was a #1 song, penned a message in the same vein as Houser’s. She let it be known this #1 was a long time coming to her friend!

Congratulations! Long overdue!” Underwood said, including a heart emoji in her comment.

Lambert also received congratulatory messages from Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild, Martina McBride, Maddie and Tae‘s Maddie Marlow, Tenille Townes, Aubrie Sellers, Sam Williams, Cody Johnson, and Cassadee Pope, among others.
