The Final Season Of Yellowstone Is Shaping Up To Be Explosive *Spoilers*

Only three episodes remain of the popular television series.

As tensions escalate after the confirmation of foul play in John Dutton’s death, the upcoming episode promises to be explosive. Especially since Jaime’s love interest, Sarah, has died on-screen, heightening the stakes and causing intrigue for what’s to come.

Sarah Atwood, played by actress Dawn Olivieri, was confirmed early on to be the perpetrator of John Dutton’s death. She enlisted what seemed to be an ex-military kill team to take out the patriarch of the show and the head of the Dutton family. But was that why she was killed? And if so, who gave the order?

Fan theories and confusion circle the shocking murder that, frankly, no one saw coming.

What Will Happen To The Ranch?

During episode 11 of season 5 of Yellowstone, both Dutton kids gave ominous speeches about losing the ranch, and one fan theory connects with Taylor Sheridan’s prequel series 1883. The theory is that the ranch will end up being given to the Indians. One fan explained this theory’s roots in the comments of the YouTube video above. The commenter said:

“If you all watched 1883, then you know that the Indian predicted that the ranch would return to the Indians in six generations”

While this theory is interesting and could be the potential outcome of the show, it is just a theory. Here is what we do know about the upcoming episode of Yellowstone.

The teaser for episode 12 of Yellowstone is filled with exciting one-liners. These brief sentences reveal big clues for the next episode while also raising intriguing questions.

One of these intriguing sentences is when Jaime says: “You’re treating me like I’m a suspect.” So it can be inferred that someone is on to Jaime’s involvement in the murder of his adoptive dad. 

Then there is the line where Beth says, “He will ruin this family’s name to save his own.”  This series highlights the intense relationship between her and her sibling, Jaime. The escalating tension is intriguing, leaving fans curious about whether Jaime will go to the train station or face jail time.

Arguably, the most interesting one-liner came from Kayce, who has been in Switzerland between his siblings through most of the series: “You should be scared. I know everything.”

Kayce’s ominous and threatening sentence is bound to be an interesting escalation between him and his adoptive sibling Jaime, which it can be assumed he was talking to.
