Those who were looking forward to seeing Chris Stapleton perform in Canada this week will unfortunately have to wait a little longer.
Chris was set to perform in London, Ontario on Thursday (April 28). But a few hours before the show, he and his wife Morgane released a statement announcing that the concert was being postponed.
The Stapletons were also forced to postpone the concerts they had scheduled for Friday (April 29) and Saturday (April 30). They explained the reason for the postponements in their statement:
“To all of our friends in London, Ottawa, & Montreal, We are sorry to let you know that we are unable to perform this weekend due to a positive case of COVID within the band & subsequent exposures. We want you all to know this was not a decision we made lightly & we sincerely apologize to every ticket holder.”

The Stapletons said the postponed shows will be rescheduled. They told their fans to stay tuned to find out when those new dates will be.
“We are focused on staying safe & hope to see you all soon,” the couple ended their statement.
After these postponements, Chris’ next show is scheduled for Thursday (May 5) in Regina, Saskatchewan. We’ll be keeping him and his band in our thoughts and wish them all good health.
