The 1923 actor’s family had raised the alarm about his disappearance earlier this week.

On March 31, the same day he was last seen, Kansas police issued an affidavit for his arrest relating to a domestic violence incident.

Responding to calls of a woman screaming for help, Lawrence officers identified Cole as the individual involved in the situation.

The Lawrence Kansas Police Department stated that they had “probable cause for his arrest and issued an alert to area agencies.”

According to Native News Online, a warrant issued on April 3, 2024, states that Cole faced charges of aggravated residential burglary, aggravated domestic battery, and criminal restraint.

Less than a week after he went missing, actor Cole Brings Plenty was discovered dead in a rural Kansas wooded area.

In Johnson County, southwest of Kansas City, authorities reported finding an unoccupied vehicle. This discovery prompted a search that led to the discovery of Cole’s body in a wooded area near the vehicle.

Cole’s cause of death remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
