Zac Brown Band‘s violinist Jimmy De Martini was first introduced to the violin when he was in middle school. He continued to practice throughout high school, and eventually landed a gig with the Dave Matthews Cover Band in Athens, Georgia.

The cover band split up four years after Jimmy joined, and he found himself in search of a new musical opportunity. That’s when he ended up meeting a woman named Stacey, who would later become his wife. In his biography on the Zac Brown Band website, Jimmy writes that Stacey, “has been the rock of [his] life and since then.”

Over the years, Jimmy and Stacey had three sons: James, Joseph, and Jackson. Now, Jimmy and Stacey have happily announced the birth of their first daughter! Keeping up with the “J” theme, Jimmy and Stacey picked out the name Jonelle for their new bundle of joy.

Jonelle was born on April 4 and weighed 6 lbs 5 oz. The Zac Brown Band congratulated Jimmy and Stacey on Instagram, and also shared a sweet snapshot of Jonelle with her three older brothers.

Jimmy isn’t the only member of the Zac Brown Band with a new baby right now. Guitarist Coy Bowles and his wife Kyle welcomed their baby girl Hattie in October. Guitarist Clay Cook and his wife Brooke welcomed their baby boy Charlie the following month.

Considering the fact that many of the Zac Brown Band’s members are having children right now, it makes sense that their upcoming album seems to have a family focus. Called Welcome Home, the album features the group’s current single “My Old Man,” which is all about the connection that fathers share with their children.

Go ahead and tune in below to watch the lyric video for “My Old Man.” Keep some tissues close, because it’s an emotional one.

Congratulations to Jimmy and Stacey on the birth of their beautiful baby girl!
