On Wednesday (April 12), Kelly Clarkson and her family celebrated her son Remington’s 1st birthday in style!
Donning a blue and gold polka-dotted bowtie, Remington ate cake from his mom’s finger and joyously played on his new rocking horse, according to the super cute photos on Clarkson’s social media accounts.
On Twitter, Clarkson also shared a photo of her gift to her son, whom they call Remy, a handmade quilt!

Fans that have followed Kelly Clarkson’s career from the very beginning know that during her audition for American Idol back in 2002, she revealed that she made her outfit from an old pair of jeans and was a wizard with the sewing machine.
One fan on Twitter thought back to her audition from American Idol, and wrote, “Looks like the infamous denim dress gave you some practice!”

All joking aside, the quilt was beautifully made and we are quite impressed with the quality since Clarkson said that it is her very first handmade quilt she has ever made!
