It’s been a little over a year since Chris Stapleton wowed us all with his breakout performance at the 2015 CMA Awards. His performances have been one of the main highlights of every awards show since, and this year’s ACM Awards were no exception.
After enjoying the success of his debut album Traveller, Stapleton thrilled fans when he announced his plans to release a new album. For the longest time, all we knew about the album was its release date: May 5. But other than that Stapleton has remained pretty mum about any details pertaining to the album…until now.
Stapleton thrilled everyone who tuned in to the ACMs by debuting a brand new song off of his upcoming album. Called “Second One to Know” the song is an upbeat tune with a hard core rock vibe.
As always, Stapleton was joined on stage by his beautiful wife Morgane, who played the tambourine while Stapleton jammed out his guitar. This performance showcased Stapleton’s skills as a guitarist more than anything we’ve ever seen from him before. He shredded that thing!
