Faith Hill Recovering After Surgery

Prior to the CMA Awards on November 2, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw showed up to strut their stuff on the red carpet. While Hill likely wore a pair of fancy shoes on “country’s music’s biggest night,” she’s now sporting some strikingly different footwear.

In a post Hill shared on Facebook on Thursday (November 10), she revealed that she is recovering from a recent surgery. Hill wrote that she finally found the time to have surgery performed on her foot after suffering an injury in the past.

It was important to Hill to get the surgery out of the way now, since she has a busy year ahead of her. In October, Hill and McGraw announced their plans to embark on a co-headlining world tour in 2017, called Soul2Soul. Knowing that she had to be in tip-top shape for the first concert on April 7, Hill decided to get her surgery done and out of the way now.

Gettin’ stage ready for 2017,” Hill wrote. “Oh, yes….I am going to slay!!!!

Hill shared a photo of her bandaged foot and her reading material for the day, the December issue of InStyle. The opened page in the photo she shared shows part of an article about Dolly Parton and Reese Withersoon. Hill made it clear the article was worth reading, writing that it had “lots of great quotes.”

Catching up on some reading while I recover from a foot surgery that I finally decided to have from a past injury. …

We’ll be praying for Hill’s quick and complete recovery. We can’t wait to see her and McGraw together on tour again, how about you? In the meantime, you’ll just have to enjoy this video of them singing “I Need You” during a recent appearance at the Ryman Auditorium.
