Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard will have to take it easy for a little while.

In a video he posted on Instagram, Tyler updated his followers on what was going on with him, saying, “My world has drastically slown down over the last two days.”

Tyler explained that he was riding his dirt bike a couple days ago when he “over jumped a jump, landed flat, and blew out [his] ankle.”

He moved the camera to show his ankle wrapped in a boot cast, then detailed the severity of his injury:

“I have a ruptured Achilles tendon and I broke the bone right there on the inside of the ankle,” he said. “So unfortunately I have to get surgery next week, and then we’ll start the journey to recovery.

While no time is a good time to have to deal with such a severe injury, this is pretty poor timing for Tyler and his family. He and his wife, Hayley, are due to welcome their third child next month. The two are parents to two-year-old daughter, Olivia, and one-year-old son, Luca.

Doc said his goal was to have me walking in 5 weeks,” Tyler wrote in the caption to his video. “Hayley and I said ‘make it 4 weeks because that’s when baby number 3 gets here.'”

He asked everyone to please keep him and his family in their prayers. “We are going to need it,” he said.

Tune in below to watch Tyler’s full video about his injury. We’ll be praying for his quick and complete recovery so he can get back on his feet to help Hayley care for their children.
