The news that Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood had sold their home in Malibu came as a surprise to fans. That’s because the country star couple kept the whole thing under wraps, and quietly sold their home for $7 million off-market, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Records show that Brooks and Yearwood purchased the property in 2008 for $4.95 million, but the ranch-style house was built in 1958. It was remodeled about a decade ago, and features a total of four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.
The home’s chef’s kitchen is surely a place where Yearwood spent a lot of time, since she is also a highly-regarded cookbook author and cooking show host. Other rooms in the home include a master suite with a fireplace, a formal living room, and a breakfast nook.
A beachy vibe is present through the decor in the house, which has vaulted and beamed ceilings, skylights, and walls of glass to allow plenty of natural light inside.
Speaking of the nature, the home is situated on about a half acre of land, and has a large patio area for entertaining. Part of the patio is covered, and there is also a stone fireplace located out there to enjoy on chilly nights.
The property is located within a gated community, and allows for private access to the Paradise Cove Beach nearby. What’s not to love about this home?
