1883, of course, is the prequel series of the hit Paramount Network show Yellowstone, and chronicles the trek that the Dutton family took from Texas and eventually ended up in Montana.
The show had an overwhelming positive response for the entire cast. On April 10th, stars Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, and Sam Elliott sat on a panel with Deadline, where it was revealed that the show will be considered a Limited Series, since there will not be a Season 2.
The panelist also announced that Paramount has submitted May and Elliott for Best Actress and Actor in a Limited Series, respectively. Hill, McGraw, and Garrett were submitted in Supporting Actress and Actor categories.

Fans were especially impressed with Isabel May’s performance, with many calling it a “star-turning role.” All eyes have been on her to see what she will do next and it has just been announced that she booked her first role since 1883‘s success.
It’s been announced that her next role will be as one-half of The Wonder Twins in the upcoming live-action DC Comics movie for HBO Max. May will portray Jayna, while Riverdale star KJ Apa will play her twin brother Zan.
Riverdale’s KJ Apa and 1883’s Isabel May have been cast in the lead roles in the HBO Max live action DC comedy WONDER TWINS.
