On Saturday night (July 13), Jelly Roll was among many attendees at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Hosted by none other than Spongebob Squarepants and Patrick Star, the Kids’ Choice Awards was giving out fan-voted awards and dishing incredible performances. Lots of high-profile stars were also in attendance.
Jelly Roll attended the show because he was up for Favorite Album, Favorite Breakout Artist, and Favorite Collaboration. He also was a presenter!
Jelly Roll and America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum presented the award for Female Voice from an Animated Movie when they were interrupted by a man dressed like a football referee. He blew a whistle and yelled, “Halftime!”
Jelly Roll and Klum looked extremely confused, especially when a marching band joined them on stage and began playing the Miley Cyrus song “Flowers.” Klum seemed to embrace the surprise interruption and danced to center stage. Once the band was done with their song, she told Jelly Roll to continue with presenting the award, but before he could, he got slimed!

The award went to Anna Kendrick for the movie Trolls Band Together, by the way!
Jelly Roll Walks Orange Carpet
Before he got slimed, though, Jelly Roll walked the red orange carpet with two very important people in his life – his children!
This was a very special moment for the singer, because it was the first time he went to a public event with both his children. He is dad to a 16-year-old daughter, Bailee, and 7-year-old son, Noah.
Jelly Roll has had full custody of Bailee for many years, but he only has visits with Noah.
He told Taste of Country, Jelly Roll said, “With Bailee, I’m the full-time parent, I’m the judge, the jury and the executioner, when it comes to decisions with her. I try not to get in the way of what she [Melisa, Noah’s mom] is building over there, and I never want to step on her toes, with what she’s doing with him, that I want to just respect that boundary.”
For this reason, Jelly Roll and his wife, Bunnie XO, have kept Noah out of the spotlight, unless his mom okays it first. Anytime he has appeared on social media, it’s with the consent of both Noah and his mom, Melisa.
The trio wore matching denim outfits, with Bailee’s giving a nod to the slime that eventually ended up all over her dad! Noah was smiling real big and waving at fans while they were posing for photos, looking like he enjoyed every moment!
Jelly Roll took some solo photos before his kids joined him. When Noah ran up to him, a photographer asked who he was. Jelly Roll said, “This is my son! It’s his first time!”
Noah didn’t look nervous at all! He was flashing a double thumbs up, waving at photographers, and smiling huge! Check out Jelly Roll, Bailee, and Noah on the orange carpet in the video below!
