Gaines’ Newest Addition
Big things have been unfolding for the Gaines family over the last year. On June 23, 2018, Chip and Joanna welcomed their fifth baby into the world, Crew. His birth brought a whole new light into the world, Joanna even admitting that having a baby at 40 made her “feel young again.”
While baby Crew’s first birthday is approaching quickly, he has already grown up big time! He’s become his mom’s right-hand man on book tours, learned his expert gardener skills, and has even played CEO at Magnolia. But it looks like his most special role has been being a baby brother to his siblings.
Joanna has shared several sweet snaps of her older kiddos embracing their baby brother. From naps on the couch to his first time at the beach, Drake, Ella, Duke, and Emmie alike can’t get enough of their newest addition.
But her most recent one is sure to melt your heart like never before.
Brotherly Bonding
Joanna posted a dimly lit photo of her oldest son, Drake and baby Crew laying together before bedtime. Drake is reading to his little brother, as Crew can’t keep his eyes (and hands) off of the book. It is the most priceless and memorable moment between the brothers.
