Lainey Wilson kicked off her Country’s Cool Again Tour with a bang last night in Nashville, featuring a special appearance by none other than Wynonna Judd!
Wilson first announced in October 2023 that she would be performing 35+ dates across North America on her headlining Country’s Cool Again Tour.
“Nothing gets me buzzin’ like putting on a show and singing along with the crowd. I want to give a big thank you to all of the fans who have continuously showed up and showed out this year. We can’t wait to see you nationwide on the ‘Country’s Cool Again Tour!'”

To commemorate the first night of the tour, Wilson took to her social media pages to share a few photos from the exciting night.
It was made extra special with Wynonna Judd and Terri Clark in attendance, and Wynonna even performed with Wilson!
“First night of the ‘COUNTRY’S COOL AGAIN’ tour was like a big ole tailgate. Wynonna and Terri showed up and showed out. Nashville, we are rollin’ into night [two]. We got our foot on the gas.”

Wynonna and Wilson recently teamed up to cover Tom Petty’s iconic “Refugee” for the new Tom Petty tribute album, which was first announced earlier this year.
Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration Of Tom Petty has heard a few contributions to the project so far from iconic artists like Chris Stapleton and Dolly Parton. Dierks Bentley’s cover of “American Girl” was the first song released from the album back on February 23. (Looks like the full album is set to release on June 21, 2024).
And now, fans get the chance to hear the latest release from Petty Country, a collaboration between Lainey Wilson and Wynonna Judd!
The duo not only released the song but also unveiled a music video showcasing their rendition of the iconic track. The video captures the two country stars in a Nashville recording studio as they work together to bring the song to life and record their version of it.
