Multiple Luke Bryan Shows Affected After Singer Falls Ill & Follows Doctors’ Advice Not To Sing

Luke Bryan took to social media on Friday (August 4) to share some bad news with his fans in Salt Lake City, Utah. The “But I’ve Got a Beer in My Hand” singer revealed he’s “been battling a head cold” for two weeks now.

Although Bryan had been able to perform during those two weeks, he was “just not getting better” throughout the day on August 4.

I truly can not give you the show I want to give so I am going to have to postpone tonight’s show at USANA Amphitheatre to August 31, 2023. Thank you so much for understanding,” he announced.

Bryan was still under the weather the following day (August 5). Doctors advised him not to sing, so he canceled his show for that night in Boise, Idaho.

…this is so hard for me to do but I am going to have to cancel my show on August 5th at Ford Center. Under the advisement of doctors I need another day to rest my voice and get better,” he said.

Bryan said he was “so disappointed” he needed to cancel the show in Boise.

Luke Says He Can “Hardly Talk” In Announcement Canceling Appearance At Watershed Festival in Washington State

The weekend became even more “frustrating” for Bryan. He was forced to cancel his appearance at the Watershed Music Festival in George, Washington.

He said he was sorry to let his fans down, but he could “hardly even talk,” let alone sing. Bryan was especially sad to cancel his appearance at the festival because he always enjoys playing there.

This festival is one of the most beautiful places we perform and one of the most fun crowds always,” he said.

We hope Bryan gets to feeling better soon!
