Miranda Lambert revealed that she is building a new home with her husband of two years, Brendan McLoughlin.

Lambert’s Nashville mansion is one that she shared with her ex-husband Blake Shelton. The home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms and a modest 5,800 square feet. This is where the “magic porch” was located. Lambert found this porch to have a vibe that sparked creativity and often would write songs with other artists while sitting out there.

The magic porch has been a big part of her musical journey and she even performed her award-winning song “Bluebird” during CMT’s Celebrate Our Heroes special.

Nevertheless, the country singer has decided it’s time to leave her Nashville home and start fresh with her husband.

She and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, have been married since January of 2019, after meeting in New York City the previous November. As of February 2020, McLoughlin is retired from the NYPD.

In addition to building a new home with McLoughlin, Lambert owns a sprawling 400-acre retreat in Williamsport, Tennesee. The property is located about an hour outside Nashville which she purchased for $3.4 million.

“Bluebird” is featured on Lambert’s newest album, Wildcard, which was released last year. Watch Lambert perform the song on her magic porch in the video below.
