Miranda Lambert has a new single out, and she wants to make sure that everyone knows about it.
Lambert first shared the news of the song’s release date and title through one of her signature “Glam Jam” videos. The singer has shared many such videos through the years, which show her and her team lip syncing to various songs.
This time, the song they jammed out to was Lambert’s new tune, “It All Comes Out in the Wash.”

For days, that short clip was all fans had to listen to until the full song dropped on Thursday (July 18). The hype for the track, which was written by Lambert, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose, and Hillary Lindsey, was intense, since it marked Lambert’s first single release in a year. On top of that, the song is also her first release off of her upcoming album.
So fans were already excited enough for the track, but Lambert came up with a clever way to get everyone’s full attention.
The night before the song dropped, Lambert shared a short clip that shows her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, doing the laundry. Much to Lambert and the fans’ delight, McLoughlin was shirtless while he was going about his household chores.
Lambert wanted to flaunt her hubby’s fit physique, so she got him to turn around as she moved the camera down the length of his torso. Referencing his toned abs as being washboard-like, her punny caption was “It All Comes Out In The Wash (board).”
