Duck Dynasty Star Missy Robertson Shares That Her Daughter, Mia, Is Getting Another Surgery
Missy Robertson has asked her followers to pray for her daughter, Mia, as she undergoes another surgery.
Born September 12, 2003, Mia is the youngest of Jase and Missy Robertson’s three children. Life was challenging for Mia from the start, because she was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. She underwent her first surgery when she was only three months old.
Mia has since undergone many more surgeries in her nearly 21 years of life. She underwent an extensive operation in 2021, during which her upper and lower jaws were broken on each side so they could “meet in the middle.”

More surgeries followed for the young Duck Dynasty star. She underwent what she hoped would be her final surgery in 2022, but she experienced a setback.
Mia underwent another major operation in 2023. Everything went “perfectly” with the surgery, but Mia had to postpone her return to Lipscomb University.
After she recovered, Mia took off on a grand adventure and studied abroad for a while.
Mia Gets Ready To Undergo Her 16th Surgery
On Sunday (July 28), Missy asked her followers to keep Mia in their prayers. She revealed they were in Dallas waiting for Mia to undergo her 16th surgery the following day (July 29).
“Just another night in a very familiar hotel room,” Missy wrote. “I don’t say ‘last’ and I don’t say ‘minor’ anymore, but I still ask for prayers. @miarobertson1 undergoes #16 tomorrow.”

Missy’s followers filled the comments section of her post with prayers and well-wishes for Mia.
Missy has not shared any additional news about Mia’s surgery at the time of this writing. We’ll be sure to update you when we know more about how she’s doing.
