More Cast Members Announced For New Elvis Presley Biopic

The highly anticipated Baz Luhrmann directed Elvis biopic is currently shooting in Australia, and the cast list keeps growing.

According to Deadline, Grammy-winning artist Gary Clark Jr. is officially cast to play American blues artist “Big Boy” Crudup. Additionally, four-time Grammy nominee Yola will portray Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Further talent on the casting list includes, Shonka Dukureh and Shannon Sanders, and Jordan Holland.

The biopic aims to showcase a mix of big and rising stars in the film to create an authentic cultural engagement for viewers. The new additions to the cast list will join Austin Butler as Elvis Presley, Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley, and Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker.
