Post Malone And Morgan Wallen’s Collaboration Took Music By Storm In 2024
Post Malone and Morgan Wallen had a great year thanks to their song “I Had Some Help,” which just won an award at the 2024 BBMAs.
“I Had Some Help” dropped in May as the lead single from Post Malone’s debut country album, F-1 Trillion. The song was a smash success, as it reached the #1 spot on both of Billboard’s country charts and the all-genre Hot 100. Billboard also named “I Had Some Help” as the “Song of the Summer” for 2024.

“I Had Some Help” won the Song of the Year award at the People’s Choice Country Awards in September. The song has since been nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Additionally, “I Had Some Help” was certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA on December 12.
“I Had Some Help” Earns The Award For Top Collaboration At 2024 BBMAs
“I Had Some Help” was nominated for five awards at the 2024 BBMAs. It ended up winning the award for Top Collaboration.
Other nominees included:
Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves – “I Remember Everything”
Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar – “Like That”
Taylor Swift and Post Malone – “Fortnight”
Morgan Wallen and ERNEST – “Cowgirls”
According to the BBMAs‘ website, winners “are selected by performance on the Billboard Charts, widely considered to be the ultimate authority in the music industry.”
Considering how well “I Had Some Help” performed on the charts this year, it stands to reason that it won the award for Top Collaboration.
While Post Malone was nominated for multiple BBMAs, this was the only one he won. However, Wallen received three additional trophies. He won Top Male Artist, Top Country Artist, and Top Country Male Artist.
Wallen sent in a video to accept the honors, during which he thanked his fans for making all of his success possible. Watch that video below.
