2025 Grammy Nominations Announced – See The Country Stars Who Earned Nods This Year

Nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards were announced on Friday (November 8), and many of country music’s biggest stars earned nods.

The Grammys have four country-specific categories: Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country/Duo Group Performance, and Best Country Song. The award for Best Country Song is given to the songwriters.

Here’s who won those categories at the 2024 Grammys earlier this year:

  • Bell Bottom Country by Lainey Wilson – Best Country Album
  • “White Horse” by Chris Stapleton – Best Country Solo Performance
  • “I Remember Everything” by Zach Bryan featuring Kacey Musgraves – Best Country Duo/Group Performance
  • “White Horse” by Chris Stapleton – Best Country Song (written by Stapleton and Dan Wilson)

After a year of exciting new releases, country fans were eager to see who would earn Grammy nominations in the four country categories for 2025. Those nominees were finally revealed, and they are:

The Award For Best Country Album

  • Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé
  • F-1 Trillion by Post Malone
  • Deeper Well by Kacey Musgraves
  • Higher by Chris Stapleton
  • Whirlwind by Lainey Wilson

Grammy For Best Country Solo Performance

  • “16 Carriages” by Beyoncé
  • “I Am Not Okay” by Jelly Roll
  • “The Architect” by Kacey Musgraves
  • “A Bar Song (Tipsy) by Shaboozey
  • “It Takes a Woman” by Chris Stapleton

The Award For Best Country Duo/Group Performance

  • “Cowboys Cry Too” by Kelsea Ballerini with Noah Kahn
  • “II Most Wanted” by Beyoncé featuring Miley Cyrus
  • “Break Mine” by Brothers Osborne
  • “Bigger Houses” by Dan + Shay
  • “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen

Grammy For Best Country Song

  • “The Architect” by Kacey Musgraves – Written by Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, and Kacey Musgraves
  • “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey – Written by Collins Chibueze, Nevin Sastry, Sean Cook, Jerrell Jones, and Mark Williams
  • “I Am Not Okay” by Jelly Roll – Written by Jason DeFord, Taylor Phillips, Ashley Gorley, and Casey Brown.
  • “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone featuring Morgan Wallen – Written by Austin Post, Morgan Wallen, Louis Bell, Ryan Vojtesak, Jonathan Hoskins, Ernest Keith Smith, Ashley Gorley, and Chandler Paul Walters
  • “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyoncé – Written by Beyoncé, Elizabeth Lowell Boland, and Megan Bülow

Luke Combs’ “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” [From “Twisters: The Album”] earned a nod in the Song Written for Visual Media category. Jessi Alexander, Luke Combs, and Jonathan Singleton penned the track.

Additionally, Beyoncé earned several nominations in the all-genre categories, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter. She earned 11 nominations in total, more than any other artist.
