Following the devastating news that her husband’s ‘Papa’ had suddenly passed away, country starlet RaeLynn made the decision to postpone two of her upcoming shows to comfort her husband during his time of mourning.
Tragically, her husband, Joshua Davis, was in basic training during the time of the incident and was unable to give his loved one a proper goodbye.
“Josh’s Papa passed away today,” RaeLynn wrote in an emotional Instagram post. “I can’t imagine how hard it is for Josh being away when all of this is happening. Praying for my husband and family so much right now. So thankful for all the Joy, Wisdom and Example of a Real Man Papa showed to Josh.”
The singer took to Facebook to explain to her fans hoping to attend her concert Friday (May 19) as well as her show on Saturday (May 20) why they have been postponed to later dates in September. RaeLynn apologized for the sudden cancellation but explained that family means a lot to her and Josh and she is willing to give out full refunds for those unable to attend the later dates.
