Yellowstone Spin-Off Marshals Set To Premiere Sunday, March 1st

Premiering on CBS this Sunday (March 1), Marshals is set to expand the Yellowstone universe, this time centered on Kayce Dutton.

Luke Grimes is returning to the role and has hinted that several familiar faces from Yellowstone will make appearances. The series also introduces its first new cast member, Logan Marshall-Green, who will play Pete Calvin, a close friend from Kayce’s military past.

Country fans especially can get excited as Riley Green has joined the cast for the highly anticipated spin-off. Green will portray Garrett, a former Navy SEAL who becomes entangled with Kayce and his fellow Marshals while confronting unresolved issues from his past.

Riley Green Announces His Acting Debut

Back in December, Green shared that he would be stepping into his first acting role in the near future. At the time, though, he didn’t reveal any details about the project.

Green’s fans first managed to spot him in a two-minute trailer released, where he made a brief cameo. In the clip, the singer is seen sitting around a fire with Kayce and his team. Green appears to be playing guitar, which hints that his character may just be a musician as well.

On February 19, the show officially announced Green’s role, sharing a post teasing his character, which is revealed as Garrett. The announcement included a photo of him on set, looking like a cowboy.
