The secret’s out! Riley Green is set to make his acting debut in the Yellowstone spinoff, Marshals.
Back in December, Green shared that he would be stepping into his first acting role in the near future. At the time, though, he didn’t reveal any details about the project.
Now, after the new Taylor Sheridan series released its first trailer for season one, fans have spotted Green and can confirm he’ll be part of the show.
What We Know So Far About Marshals
At the start of the year, the show released its first look ahead of the March 1 premiere, and it had longtime Yellowstone fans stunned within seconds.
The teaser opens with Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes) waking up in a panic, alone.
Moments later, he and his son, Tate (Brecken Merrill), are standing at the end of a bed, where a nurse is pulling a white sheet over a body. Many are expecting this to hint that Kayce’s wife, Monica, has died.
It’s also revealed that Kayce ends up joining the U.S. Marshals after being recruited by an old military friend, Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green). The rest of Calvin’s team includes Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos), and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means).

Don’t Blink Or You’ll Miss Riley Green!
With several shocking moments included in the trailer, many viewers were so caught up that they didn’t even realize Riley Green had appeared until much later.
His cameo in the two-minute trailer was truly a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, but Green’s fans managed to spot him.
In the brief clip, he’s seen sitting around a fire with Kayce and his team. Green appears to be playing guitar, which gives the clue that his character may be a musician.

As of right now, Green’s involvement in the show hasn’t been confirmed by him or the series. We didn’t even get a full look at his face in the quick scene.
Still, that signature mustache was a pretty good giveaway that it was him. And it wouldn’t be surprising. Taylor Sheridan has a history of casting country artists in his projects.
Yellowstone fans have seen Lainey Wilson take on the role of a musician named Abby. Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, also starred together in Sheridan’s miniseries 1883.
It’s still unclear when Green’s character will appear or how many episodes he’ll be a part of. For now, fans of the “Worst Way” singer will just have to tune in and keep their eyes peeled to catch him.
Marshals will premiere on CBS on Sunday, March 1st at 9 pm ET/PT. It will be available to stream on Paramount+ the next day.
