Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is a proud father of four. He has three daughters, Liv, Mia, and Chelsea, and one son, Taj.
The eldest of Steven’s kids, Liv, didn’t know he was her father until she was 11 years old. Steven had a relationship with her mother, Bebe Buell, that resulted in Bebe becoming pregnant. Bebe didn’t trust that Steven would be a good father, so she claimed the father was her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Todd Rundgren.
Liv was raised by Todd and was born with his last name. She didn’t meet Steven until she was eight years old, when she saw him at a concert. Even though she had no idea Steven was her biological father, Liv said she was “madly in love with him.” As she told Wonderland in 2011:
“I was watching Todd play and I was like, ‘Ugh, I don’t wanna come!’ And she pointed to this guy standing at the bar and I was like, ‘Is that Mick Jagger’s son?’ And he bought me a Shirley Temple,” she added. “I fell madly in love with him. I had no idea who he was.”
Three years later, at the age of 11, Liv finally learned the truth…Steven was her father. The two eventually made up for lost time and formed a strong father-daughter bond.
Liv is now an accomplished actress, and Steven couldn’t be more proud. As a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Liv recalled how her dad “cried” when he heard her sing on her show 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Steven and Liv also share photos of one another on social media all the time. Their love for each other is evident in every photo they share!

Most recently, Steven posted a photo of him and Liv in honor of her birthday. She turned 44 on Thursday (July 1), and Steven wanted her to know how much she is loved.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY @misslivalittle … MY ALPHA PUP,” he captioned a black and white photo of him and Liv. You can see the picture and Steven’s message below.
