A Florida man strapped to a 1,500-pound bull this past weekend shows exactly why bull riding is one of the most dangerous sports in the world.
Sean Daniels was kicked in the face by a bull during a rodeo event and got his jaw broken and part of his skull fractured after attempting to ride the angry animal. Now, he is in need of medical treatment.
A video posted to TikTok by Mario Rosales shows him climbing onto the back of the bull that was locked into the chute gate. The bull jumped up and flipped over on its side with Sean still on its back.
You can hear the woman standing next to the gate scream in panicked fear and put her hand over her mouth as she saw Sean getting pinned down by all the bull’s weight.
The chute gate operators, closely watching and making quick decisions, decided to step in to save him by opening the gate and letting the bull out of the tight space.
As they did, however, Sean was eager to keep riding and tried his best to climb back onto the bull’s back as it was escaping the chute.
The bull wasn’t having any of that and instantly got to bucking as soon as it got back to its feet, and that’s when things got scary.
Sean wasn’t able to make it back on the bull’s back and instead, the bull gave one of its most powerful kicks, landing directly on Sean’s chin.
The kick landing on his face made a noise that sounded like a car crash, and Sean went straight to the ground. Anybody watching could easily believe that Sean was down for the count and not going to be getting back up, but he surprised everyone.
Sean jumped right back up to his feet and managed to get to safety. However, he did not escape uninjured. His buddy Trent Kirk started a GoFundMe page that explained that Sean was going to need some serious medical treatment after getting kicked.
