The seventh season of The Masked Singer came to a close on Wednesday (May 18). Viewers watched the Firefly, the Prince, and the Ringmaster sing their last songs before one of them was crowned as the winner.

The Prince came in third place. Actor and singer Cheyenne Jackson was revealed to be the person behind the Prince’s mask. Second place went to the Ringmaster, who turned out to be actress, singer, and songwriter Hayley Orrantia.

That meant the Firefly was crowned as the winner of the season! She joins the ranks of past winners such as LeAnn Rimes, Jewel, and Jamie Foxx.

After much anticipation, Firefly’s identity was finally revealed.

It turns out the Firefly was the multi-talented Teyana Taylor. Taylor is known for her work as a singer, actress, dancer, choreographer, songwriter, director, and model.

Judges Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg both correctly guessed the Firefly’s identity before she was unmasked.

Taylor’s Masked Singer win comes a few months after her husband, NBA star Iman Shumpert, won Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. What an exciting time for them!
