Miranda Lambert won two awards at the 2022 ACM Awards. Before the ceremony, Lambert learned her and Elle King’s music video for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” won the Video of the Year Award.

DRUNK won @acmawards video of the year! Love you @elleking #acmawards” Lambert wrote on social media in response to the news.

At the end of the night, host Dolly Parton announced Lambert also won the Entertainer of the Year award. Lambert has been up for the award many times, but this was her first time winning.

Unfortunately, Lambert wasn’t present to accept her trophy in person. She reacted to the news of her win over video call.

Oh my gosh, I cannot believe I’m not there to celebrate,” Lambert exclaimed. The “If I Was a Cowboy” singer said she was in London:

This is my first time missing the ACMs in seventeen years. My heart is a little broken, but I’m happy to be where I am. I’ve been waiting for this for a really, really long time. I actually never thought it would happen. But thank you so much to the country music family for embracing me all these years and continuing to support me.

Lambert ended her message by saying, “This one goes out to all the singer-songwriter girls out there that put their blood, sweat and tears into their guitar strings. We did it! This is for us!

Some fans were wondering why Lambert was in London at the same time as the ACM Awards. It turns out she is one of the headliners of the Country 2 Country music festival in London, which is from March 11-13. Lambert will headline the first night of the festival, so she was in London to prepare for the performance.
