Walmart Yodel Boy Proves He Hasn’t Let Fame Go To His Head With Epic Purchase

Small town boy Mason Ramsey became a global sensation after a video of him singing Hank Williams’ ”Lovesick Blues” went viral. Shortly after, the 11-year-old landed guest appearances at music festivals Coachella and Stagecoach, achieved his dream of performing at the Grand Ole Opry, and scored a record deal of his very own.

After experiencing such whirlwind past couple of months, fans of the yodelling extraordinaire have been wondering how Ramsey has been handling his new found fame. Proving that he’s still that same small town boy, Ramsey gave the ultimate gift to his best friend after being forced to cancel on him to record music.

Ramsey shared a photo to his official Instagram page of himself and his best friend Menno holding the ultimate gift, a brand new Xbox console with a some of the hottest games on the market.

”This is my best friend Menno. A few weeks ago we were supposed to go to a baseball game but I had to cancel and go work on music in Nashville. I got to see him today and surprised him with this xbox! Never forget your friends!” wrote Ramsey.
