After crowd-surfing his way to center stage, this devoted country fan heard the roar of endless applause as he joined one of his favorite country singers for a performance of “Dirt Road Anthem” that nobody saw coming!
In a video uploaded by country music singer Colt Ford, he shares an incredible moment with a fan who is disabled after the fan finds his way to the stage via an epic crowd surf in his wheelchair. Ford was performing, when he was greeted by 23-year-old Zach and welcomed the young fan to sing alongside him.
Both of these fellas had smiles beaming across their faces as they sang together on the song that Ford co-wrote with Brantley Gilbert and was made famous by Jason Aldean. In the song, there’s a section of rap-style singing that’s emblematic of Ford’s style and it was during that verse that young Zach stole the audience’s heart.
Snagging the microphone from Ford, Zach rapped his way to stardom alongside Ford, who looked just as impressed as the audience sounded. Following his stunning interlude, the crowd roared to life with even more applause while Ford took a seat next to Zach’s wheelchair and continued the track.
“You wanna know why I am so lucky,” Ford said in the video’s caption. “This right here, real life. Nothing but love for my buddy Zach up onstage. He rocked the house. It was my honor to be onstage with you buddy. God bless. You were the star of the show.”
