Keith Urban is getting ready to co-host the 56th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, and his wife, Nicole Kidman, is also back at work with a new starring role.
Kidman is portraying the iconic Lucille Ball in the biopic Being the Ricardos. The film follows I Love Lucy stars Ball and real-life husband Desi Arnaz through a challenging week of filming the hit show. According to Deadline, the plot will begin during a Monday table read and conclude at a Friday TV shoot.

In an interview with Extra’s Jenn Lahmers, Urban could not help but brag about his wife’s latest project. Urban gushed:
“I’m proud of her for anything. It’s a really an extraordinary role and it’s an extraordinary script — Aaron Sorkin has written beyond on this. It’s just amazing. She’s loving doing it.”
While Urban admits he is “definitely not Desi,” the country singer has been helping his wife prepare for her role. The couple has been binging I Love Lucy episodes to help Kidman get a feel for her character.
