The beloved Jeopardy! game show host died last November from stage four pancreatic cancer at the age of 80. Trebek’s final episodes as host aired earlier this year, which gave fans a chance to say a prolonged goodbye.

On Monday, Trebek’s daughter took to Instagram to share a memory with her followers. The 53-year-old highlighted that instead of posting a sad caption for the three-month milestone, she wanted to focus on a more positive memory. Nicky shared a photo of Trebek pointing with both hands during an episode of Jeopardy!

“It’s been 3 months and rather than post something sad I #choosejoy,” Nicky wrote on her Instagram. “This always makes me laugh thinking about how many times he did that trying to get it right.”
