2021 has been a celebratory year for Jimmie Allen!
Earlier this year, the “Best Shot” singer won the ACM’s award for New Male Artist of the Year. He also performed during the ceremony, and sang his current single “Freedom Was a Highway” with Brad Paisley.
Another big event Jimmie was looking forward to in 2021 was his wedding to Alexis Gale.
Jimmie and Alexis got engaged in 2019 during a trip to Walt Disney World in Florida. The couple loves visiting Disney World…so it seemed like the perfect place for Jimmie to pop the question.

Alexis, who is a nurse, is from Jimmie’s hometown in Delaware. Jimmie told People this shared connection is what allowed him and Alexis to bond on a deep level.
“With Alexis being from my hometown, it is like always having a piece of home with me,” he said. “We had an immediate connection. It was like we’d always known each other.”
After getting engaged, Jimmie and Alexis had a baby girl named Naomi Bettie on March 1, 2020. Jimmie also has a seven-year-old son, Aadyn, from a previous relationship.

Jimmie and Alexis originally planned to get married in 2020. But for obvious reasons, their wedding was postponed.
The couple finally tied the knot on Thursday night (May 27). The guest list included a few famous faces, such as Darius Rucker, Chuck Wicks, and Tyler Rich.
All three artists are friends of Jimmie’s. They shared some photos and videos from the wedding…and it looks like they had a blast!

Tyler shared some more lengthy videos on his Instagram Story that show Jimmie and Alexis entering their reception and enjoying their cake. The clips he shared offer a sneak peek at what Alexis’ wedding gown looked like.
As of press time, only Alexis has shared a photo of her and Jimmie on their wedding day. The picture shows a snapshot taken in a photo booth, with the text “The Allens” printed on the top.
You can’t see Alexis’ dress in the picture, but you can see part of Jimmie’s outfit. He was wearing a black collared shirt he left unbuttoned a bit to showcase several layers of necklaces. He was also wearing a camo print hat.
We can’t wait to see more photos from Jimmie and Alexis’ wedding!
Congratulations to the newlyweds! May they enjoy many joyful years together.
